Types of Visitors Insurance

There are two types of insurance coverage plans available:

Limited coverage plans have a cap on what insurers will pay per incident toward medical care. Limited coverage plans are not meant to provide full protection for every possible medical claim, but rather focus on covering a portion of the most commonly incurred types of medical bills in a simple manner. Limited coverage plans cost much less than comprehensive insurance plans.

Comprehensive coverage plans, by contrast, generally cover most medical expenses after deductibles and co-payments. Their premiums are higher than limited coverage plans, but they also give you peace of mind.
